This week started with The Sun telling me that women will have more sex with robots than men this year. Ok, so it was a forecast from 2016, but who’s to say? Boston Dynamic’s Atlas is already capable of rearranging objects autonomously.
Time to rearrange my butthole, I guess. Another butthole that needs some rearranging is Elon Musk. The smartest man on the planet made the dumbest salute possible, and now Fanatical has the Wolfenstein games on sale. Those are games where you shoot Nazis, you see.
Probably coincidental, but someone on Mastodon posted a link to a 2006 italian movie about fascists on Mars. Is it time, again, to Tanz den Mussolini?
I thought DAF was from Berlin, because that would be an easy segue to this Guardian story about a legal loophole that allows for higher rent. Basically if the apartment is pre-furnished and ’temporary’, landlords don’t have to abide by rent control. Pairs well with the ‘Goodbye Poor & Sexy’ article by Fatma Aydemir from last year.

Cars. Nothing to write this week. It’s the age of the fat plonker, and there’s not much we can do about it. Except miraculously invent lighter batteries, or forget about private transport altogether. Wait, there is something to write about: BASF released their yearly color report for automotive coatings. What colors are trending, how hip is pink? Well let me tell you, it’s a grey world out there, but beige is on the move. And yellow?
Speaking of pink, I uploaded personal Pixel Art to my website, called ‘Bombed Building’. It’s a bombed building surrounded by pink undamaged ones. One could say it’s inspired by war footage from Ukraine and Gaza. At least that’s my guess.
Regarding my philosophical journey towards Saint Augustine, I read up on Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite. He stressed that humans are subject to cognitive limitations when trying to understand and grasp God, and suggested negative theology as a way to approach faith. Trying to experience God by casting away all categories of thought associated with him sounds a lot like buddhist meditation to me.
