Finished reading Primo Levi’s If This Is a Man the other day. It’s an account of his stay at the Auschwitz III concentration camp during the last years of World War II.
I took a self-imposed break from K-Pop over the last month, giving myself time to explore other genres and styles of music. Well, I lasted a month. Now it’s back to Bubblegum-Pop-slop. But what did I find?
Another year, another K-Drama. This time it’s Newtopia, a fun zombie romp through Seoul, capital city of South Korea. Yes, the K in K-Drama is for Korea. What am I writing? I think I still haven’t fully recovered.
Wow, first post in the new year. So exciting. What happened? I got sick, came back from Egypt, Venezuela got invaded, Greenland is about to become American, oh and oh, I started another attempt to finish my next digital painting.
I’m back from Egypt, and I brought a cold and diarrhea. Pretty awesome. Lots of memories of crypts and tombs as well.
I’ll figure out what I want to write about as I go. Not really sure yet. I’ve got a stuffy nose and some tea in front of me, plus some radio show about Christmas carols in my ear.
I saw the pilot for Judge from Hell two years ago, and thought ‘Ah, nice. A surreal twist to K-Drama’s two favorite topics: domestic abuse and violence against women.’ But with some laughs thrown in to balance it out.
