Another year, another K-Drama. This time it’s Newtopia, a fun zombie romp through Seoul, capital city of South Korea. Yes, the K in K-Drama is for Korea. What am I writing? I think I still haven’t fully recovered.

I saw the pilot for Judge from Hell two years ago, and thought ‘Ah, nice. A surreal twist to K-Drama’s two favorite topics: domestic abuse and violence against women.’ But with some laughs thrown in to balance it out.

I watched some stuff, and listened to some stuff. Yes, you might think it was from Korea. What other countries are there? I don’t know.

Picked Dear X as K-Drama for the weekend, and have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, it’s a really interesting look at Korean society and the prevalence of bullying.

I watched the first four episodes of The Manipulated, a Korean drama (K-Drama) about a guy framed for a murder he didn’t commit. Actually, it should be called Framed; that would be better.
