Wow, first post in the new year. So exciting. What happened? I got sick, came back from Egypt, Venezuela got invaded, Greenland is about to become American, oh and oh, I started another attempt to finish my next digital painting.

I’m back from Egypt, and I brought a cold and diarrhea. Pretty awesome. Lots of memories of crypts and tombs as well.

I’ll figure out what I want to write about as I go. Not really sure yet. I’ve got a stuffy nose and some tea in front of me, plus some radio show about Christmas carols in my ear.

I saw the pilot for Judge from Hell two years ago, and thought ‘Ah, nice. A surreal twist to K-Drama’s two favorite topics: domestic abuse and violence against women.’ But with some laughs thrown in to balance it out.

I listened to a podcast on St. Augustine’s City of God the other day, and then went on Youtube to look for further explanations. To figure out what I just listened to. I got bored of searching, and decided to find a lecture on literary criticism instead.

Aww man, another week comes to an end. Almost. I mean, work week. After 3 PM on a Thursday it’s nothing but fun and games for good ole Rowini! Time to golf, sauna, and ride a motorcycle up a mountain. And maybe talk about Korean movies? Hmm?

I can’t stop thinking about that documentary about the designer Luigi Colani I saw on Youtube the other day. “I built aircraft out of shark corpses, and they flew perfectly!” What a guy. He designed some weird shit, too.

I saw Running Man. The first hour. The new one, with Gwen Powell. Not good. I didn’t enjoy myself. Stopped watching after an hour.
